Zach had the privilege of attending Sacred Heart University’s Campus Life Leadership Awards, where he was recognized for his outstanding dedication and leadership within the Undergraduate Admissions Office over the past year.
As a Student Ambassador, Zach has spent countless hours guiding prospective students and their families as they begin their Pioneer journeys helping to create a welcoming and memorable first impression of the Sacred Heart community. He shared how the skills and experiences gained through this role will continue to impact him as he pursues his future career in education. ✨📚🍎

💙💛 It was a pleasure welcoming alumna Tina Kassangana, Class of 2012, back to Kellenberg Memorial High School for a French Collaboration Conversation with the French 3 classes! 🇫🇷✨
Tina spoke with students in both French and English about her experiences at Kellenberg, Syracuse University, and St. John’s University School of Law. Prior to her visit, students prepared and wrote their own questions in French, and each student had the opportunity to ask Ms. Kassangana a different question about her time at Kellenberg, her academic journey, and what inspired her to pursue law.
Thank you, Tina, for sharing your time, experiences, and encouragement with our students. Opportunities like these make language learning come alive and show students the value of confidence, communication, and connection beyond the classroom! 💙💛
🥍💛💙 Today, the KMHS Varsity Lacrosse program was honored to present the Ian Cadzin Memorial Scholarship to Senior CJ Peek alongside Elaine, Ian’s mother, as well as Kellenberg’s Athletic Director and former Varsity Lacrosse coach of Ian Cadzin, who proudly helped present the award in celebration of Ian’s lasting legacy. 💙💛
Ian Cadzin graduated from Kellenberg in 2009 after attending KMHS from 6th through 12th grade and was a dedicated member of both the football and lacrosse programs. He continued his lacrosse career at Salve Regina University, where he carried with him the passion, brotherhood, and commitment that defined him both on and off the field.
This scholarship is awarded in Ian’s memory and honors the values that the sport of lacrosse and being a teammate meant to him — leadership, selflessness, dedication, fun and playing for something greater than yourself. 💛💙 Congratulations CJ Peek!

Kellenberg Memorial High School Alumni
When you graduate from Kellenberg Memorial, you become part of an expansive alumni network of over 14,000 Firebirds across the globe who are united in their shared experience of the Marianist education of the heart and mind. Our graduates go on to become leaders in finance, law, medicine, technology, education, civil service, and engineering. Many Firebird alumni choose lives of service to others by entering into religious life or becoming members of the armed forces, police departments, and fire departments.
In 2014, Kellenberg Memorial established its first official Alumni Board, the mission of which is to provide opportunities for Firebird alums to maintain contact with each other and the school, as well as inspire the larger alumni family to work together to ensure that Kellenberg Memorial’s quality Catholic education remains attainable to families of diverse economic backgrounds.
