The Village of Lynbrook has a woman trustee, for the second time ever and the first since 1991.
AnnMarie Reardon, 42, an aide to Assemb. Brian Curran (R-Lynbrook), was appointed to the position Tuesday night by Mayor William Hendrick.
“The board and I are thrilled to be working with AnnMarie Reardon, and I know she will do an outstanding job representing the residents of Lynbrook . . . focusing on the needs of our families and seniors,” Hendrick said.
He said she is the village’s second woman trustee. Her term is for one year, and Reardon said she plans to seek election to the part-time post.
