There were a number of national No. 1s, but perhaps the most impressive came from Kellenberg sophomore Jazmine Fray, who ran away from a strong field to win the 800m run in 2:10.96. Cardozo’s Sabrina Southerlandhas been running great all year and was the favorite coming in. She looked like it for 500 meters, but faded and was passed by Gwynedd Mercy’s Emma Keenan. But Fray bolted at the perfect time with about 100 meters left and won going away. She was named as the meet’s outstanding female track athlete for her effort.
