Three Kellenberg Memorial High School students were selected to participate in New York State School Music Association’s Conference All State performing ensembles in Rochester, NY. Erin Lyons (’16), violin, performed with the All State Symphony Orchestra, alto Jacqueline Cotumaccio (’16) performed with the All State Women’s Chorus and soprano Hannah Pipa (’15) was selected to perform in the All State Vocal Jazz Ensemble, her second selection to that group. Soprano Courtney O’Shea (’16) was chosen as a chorus alternate. Students are selected for All State ensembles by auditions done the previous spring. Thousands of students across the state audition for seating in these ensembles each year. Additionally, Jacqueline Cotumaccio has been accepted to the NAfME All Eastern Honors Chorus, which will perform in Providence, RI in April.

They are shown here with Bro. Kenneth Hoagland, S.M., Principal, Mr. Robert Taffet, orchestra director, and Mr. Clark Blanton, choral director at Kellenberg Memorial.
