Led by Maureen Lewin’s individual win, the Kellenberg girls’ sophomore cross country team ran to their first championship title as a unit with a score of 28 points, beating the second place team by 22 points (lowest score wins)!
Brianna Lausev finished fourth with Maya Richardson in fifth. Erin Doherty, Meghan Cappitelli, and Clare O’Hara all finished in the top fifteen. The sophomores join their upperclassmen teammates to attempt to defend their Varsity and JV NSCHSGAA Championship titles on Oct. 30 at Sunken Meadow State Park.
