Latin School C.R.O.S.S. Spreads Spirituality with Sandwich Making and a Prayer Service for Our Lady of Guadalupe

Dec 15 2015

Latin School CROSS gathered on December 3, 2015, to make five hundred cheese sandwiches for The Mary Brennan INN. CROSS members created assembly lines to craft these sandwiches which would be used for the many homeless served by The INN. Members counted, boxed, and loaded these sandwiches for a speedy delivery to the INN. Latin School CROSS Members joyfully performed this corporal work of mercy of feeding the hungry.

On December 10, Latin School CROSS joined with Junior and Senior CROSS members to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the Maria Regina Chapel. Latin School CROSS members led the prayer service in honor of Our Lady’s appearances to St. Juan Diego in Tepayac, Mexico.  Sarah Goez, Luke DeBono, Joshua Antony, Aidan York, and Francesca Muzio sang beautiful hymns for the service. We were all very grateful to be able to spend this special time with Our Blessed Mother in prayer and thanksgiving.

We would like to thank Mrs. Dugal and Mrs. Gaspe and the Junior and Senior CROSS members for inviting us to share in their weekly prayer services.
