Luke 16:9-15
Jesus tells us to use “dishonest wealth” and “make friends for ourselves” and when it fails us that a “lasting reception” will be ours. The friends we make should be poor and needy so that when we come before God they will be on our side. This is because we have invested our wealth in them. “If you trust a man with little things, you can also trust him in greater.” This means that if we can be trusted with material things on Earth we can be trusted with something greater inHeaven. If we use our talents to make the Kingdom of Heaven better we will live forever with God. This does not mean we cannot have money or material things, we should just use them to
help others who are less fortunate.
