LK 15:1-10
When our hearts are moved with pity, we should act. Jesus cured “every disease and illness” when He saw that “they were troubled and abandoned.” He seized the day and sent out 12 disciples to help him “cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, and drive out demons.” He acted on his sadness and didn’t wait around for someone else. He took the initiative and changed the world himself. This lesson is relatable to our everyday lives. If we don’t act, nothing will get done! As Buddha said, “The trouble is, you think you have time.” We don’t have time to watch everything unfold. If we follow Jesus’ example of taking action, real and positive change will occur right in front of our eyes.
