EX 17:3-7
In times of distress and doubt, we tend to give up our trust in God, but we are not alone. When leading the Israelites out of Egypt, Moses was confused and uneasy about what he was called to do. The Israelites were thirsty and angry with Moses. He trusted in God amidst the chaos that He would provide. Moses struck the rock at Meribah and God provided the water that was needed. In our own times of agony, we must put all else aside and turn to God, trusting that he will provide.
