JN 9:1-41
In today’s Gospel, Jesus heals the man born blind. Jesus heals this man by putting clay on his eyes and telling him to go wash in Siloam. This miracle occurred on the sabbath and it was not okay to do any work on the sabbath at that time. The Jews didn’t believe that this man, Jesus, could really heal the blind man and they continued to question him. The man repeatedly told them what happened and believed in Jesus’ work.
This Gospel is teaching us to believe in the work of God. Although some seem impossible to the human eye, nothing is impossible with God. We must learn to trust in God’s works and put faith in all that he does.
