On March 6, members of the Kellenberg Memorial class of 2017 took time from their day to participate in the annual senior blood drive for New York Blood Center. The drive was originally scheduled for mid-February, but was rescheduled due to a snow day. Today, students donated a grand total of 184 units from 108 whole blood donors and 38 ALYX donors. The ALYX machine takes double the amount of red blood cells from the donor, yielding 76 units in all. The blood drive was a great, positive experience for the Kellenberg Memorial family and the class of 2017!
