Meet the Alumni Board
In 2014, Kellenberg Memorial established its first official Alumni Association Board, the mission of which is to provide opportunities for Firebird alumni to maintain contact with each other and the school. The officers of the board serve for two years. Please find below the members of the 2023-2025 Alumni Board. We thank them all for their continued support of Kellenberg Memorial.

“As I reflect on my time at Kellenberg, I will forever be filled with immense gratitude for my Firebird Family. I am honored to serve on the Alumni Board and give back to the community that has given me so much. I look forward to working alongside my fellow alumni to support Kellenberg as it continues to grow and carry out its mission.”

“I am Stephanie L. Williams, a proud Kellenberg Alumna Class of 1992. I strive to be an energic, passionate special educator with Master’s degrees from Adelphi, Hofstra, and Long Island University. Currently, I am teaching second grade inclusion in the Roosevelt Public School District for the past twenty-eight years. I enjoy giving my time to help my alma mater. Even though it is a small token, it can make a huge impact. Nelson Mandela said it best, “There can be no greater gift than that of giving one’s time and energy to help others without expecting anything in return.”

“It is truly an honor to serve on Kellenberg Memorial’s Alumni Board. I am deeply grateful to my Firebird family and to the Marianist community for all that Kellenberg has given me and for the faith-filled foundation it continues to cultivate through community, service, and love of God. From the freshman hallways in 2008, a lasting fire for faith, purpose, and belonging was ignited within me. Years later, as a physician assistant in pediatric primary care, I remain humbled to give back, striving to cultivate and guide children and young adults with the same formation, compassion, and love that Kellenberg so generously poured into me, and to stand alongside fellow alumni as a steward helping to nurture and grow the community that shaped both my faith and my vocation.”

“Being a student at Kellenberg Memorial High School was an extraordinary experience that provided top education, taught professionalism, and provided a framework on how to conduct oneself through life. KMHS excels in offering a variety of opportunities that allow anyone to find and develop their passion or simply experience something new, allowing for well-rounded development. Anyone and everyone can always find their community at KMHS. I am honored to be a member of the Alumni Board and look forward to expanding the KMHS alumni network, supporting the current students, and giving back to the school that has provided so much for me as it continually grows to offer new opportunities for all members of the Firebird family.”

“My tenure at Kellenberg Memorial was a pivotal and transformative experience, directly contributing to my development as a highly capable and values-driven individual prepared for future challenges. The institution’s comprehensive approach, blending rigorous academics with a strong moral and communal foundation, meticulously shaped the core attributes crucial to my success.
As Assistant Vice President at NYU Langone, I’ve dedicated over two decades to transforming complex health-care enterprises into high-performing, data-driven organizations. My passion lies in orchestrating clinical, financial, and academic performance across multiple hospitals by proactively spotting service gaps and scaling innovative models of care. I excel at bridging culture and analytics, developing actionable playbooks that translate strategic vision into measurable results. A lifelong leader and dedicated mentor, I currently coach over 25 administrative leads and directors, and have designed impactful standardized onboarding programs, succession planning, and incentive-compensation frameworks that keep clinical talent engaged and accountable.
With a strong academic foundation (BS, NYU; MBA, Molloy; MHA, LIU; PhD in progress), I am a fierce advocate for health equity, women’s leadership, and digital innovation in healthcare. I regularly share insights as a speaker on revenue optimization and large-scale workflow redesign. My leadership style combines financial discipline, operational rigor, and inspirational guidance, all aimed at moving health systems and their communities forward.”

“Attending Kellenberg Memorial is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I began my journey as a seventh grader in the Joseph C. Fox Latin School and continued through graduation, forming lasting bonds with classmates, teammates, teachers, and staff. The culture at Kellenberg fostered both academic excellence and active involvement in the school’s many clubs and programs. That environment was instrumental in shaping me into the person I am today, inspiring personal growth and a lifelong pursuit of achievement. My time at Kellenberg was truly an incredible experience, and the school will always hold a special place in my heart. I am deeply honored to now serve on the Alumni Board and give back to the community that gave me so much.”

The guidance and support I received continue to influence the person I am today. “Kellenberg Memorial High School is an extension of my home and family. My six years as a student (Latin School and High School) had a profoundly positive impact on my life, shaping me into the person I am today.
I have maintained a strong connection with the school over the last 30 years, serving three years as the Freshman Baseball Coach and spending seven years as a player, manager, and co-founder of the Long Island Firebirds, a team composed entirely of KM alumni. The fact that so many close friends and classmates have become Kellenberg faculty over the past 30 years truly speaks to the enduring special nature of this institution.
Today, I am proud to see the next generation embracing the school. My oldest daughter is currently thriving as a Junior at Kellenberg, my second daughter will be joining as a Freshman this fall, and my youngest is eagerly anticipating her turn to join the KM family.
To serve on the Alumni Board is a distinct honor and an opportunity to give back to a place and culture that provided me with so much. I look forward to actively contributing to the success of alumni events and offering guidance and support to current students and young alumni as they pursue success and peace.”

“Kellenberg Memorial High School truly transformed my life. It helped shape me into the person I am today~ academically, socially, and most importantly, spiritually. I am deeply honored to have been asked to be on the Alumni Executive Board. It is a role I take seriously and am very passionate about as one way to give back to a school community that has given so much to me. I believe very strongly in Catholic Education. I am a very proud Alumni parent to my daughter, Samantha, who graduated in 2022, and a current Kellenberg parent to my son, Michael, who will be graduating in 2027.
Looking back, I’m grateful for the faithful foundation Kellenberg gave me~ the strong values, the genuine friendships I still have over 30 years later, and a community that always felt like home. Kellenberg is Home. want to help ensure that the current and future students experience the same sense of purpose, faith, and belonging that I cherished.”
