The Kellenberg Memorial High School Community Service Club allows students to participate in various service projects throughout the surrounding neighborhoods. Club members get a “hands on” experience of serving others through a variety of projects. Past projects have ranged from cleaning up yards to painting and spackling, from demolition to basic construction and carpentry. All aspects of the club, from organizing donations of materials to finding people in need to serve, are run in part by the students with the assistance of several club moderators. In the past, this group coordinated Katrina relief, Nazareth Farms, and Super Sandy relief.
