Please read before beginning your application:

The application will require you to upload PDFs of the following:

  1. Applicant’s baptismal certificate
  2. Applicant’s final report card with teacher comments from the past two years (6th Grade – 3rd/4th cards; 7th Grade – 4th/5th cards; 8th Grade – 5th/6th cards)
  3. Applicant’s most recent standardized test scores – WE DO NOT ACCEPT NEW YORK STATE TEST SCORES. Acceptable tests include i-Ready, NWEA, STAR, Cogat, IOWA, TERRA.
  4. A handwritten letter by the student stating his/her reasons for wishing to attend the school. The letter should include the student’s name, any activities the student participates in, and any changes the student anticipates having to make if he/she enters the school.  Students are also welcome to recount any past experiences, or explain how he/she plans on becoming involved in the Latin School. There is no minimum or maximum length for the handwritten letter.
