We are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding transportation. Most families will be able to secure yellow school bus transportation from their local school districts. School districts in Nassau and Suffolk County are required by law to provide busing to students who reside within 15 miles of Kellenberg Memorial. Requests for transportation must be made directly to local school districts before April 1st.
Kellenberg Memorial operates a Mineola LIRR shuttle. Kellenberg Memorial provides shuttle service to and from the Mineola Train Station, leaving Mineola each morning by 7:50 a.m. and arriving at Kellenberg Memorial around 8:05 a.m. each morning. The afternoon shuttle leaves Kellenberg Memorial by 5:20 p.m. and arrives at Mineola at approximately 5:45 p.m. The cost of the shuttle bus for the 2025-2026 school year is $650.00 each way ($1,300.00 round trip).
A private bus operates from the Howard Beach area to Kellenberg Memorial each day.
Additionally, a private bus operates from the South Shore of Suffolk County to Kellenberg Memorial each day.
