This past weekend, Erin Gallagher ’18, Kathleen Peknic ’18, Rachel Siegel ’20, and Faith Agolia’18 were selected to participate in the 13th annual LIU Post Band Festival at the Tilles Center. Selected students worked with renown composer Andrew Boysen Jr. as well as Dr. James McRoy of LIU Post over the weekend and performed a concert at Tilles Center Sunday night. In total there were 34 schools represented. Kellenberg Memorial was the only Catholic school to have students selected. This honor is equivalent to being a member of an All-State and All-County group — very select, for top musicians.
