Kellenberg is thrilled to announce that setter Madison Gale has been named one of Newsday’s Top 25 Players to Watch. Gale, a senior, is a two-year varsity starter, playing right side last year and setting a 5-1 offense for the Firebirds this year.
In 2016, Madison was selected to the AVCA Phenom program, and this year, she currently holds a spot on the Under Armour All-American Watch List, This past weekend as the season opened for the Firebirds at the Wantagh Invitational, Madison compiled 85 assists, 4 blocks, and 4 aces in tournament play.
More excitement is on the way for Madison and her Firebirds as league play opens this Thursday at 5:45 pm against Sacred Heart Academy.
