Academic Placement Results Now Available

As you know, your child recently took our Placement Exam to determine the best pathway toward academic success at Kellenberg Memorial. Please log on to the portal to access your child’s academic placement and detailed coursework for both the Honors and Academic programs.

How to access the parent portal?

  • For parents new to Kellenberg Memorial High School, go to https://student.kellenberg.org, click Forgot Username or Password, and enter your email address. You will receive an email with a link to create the password for your account.
  • Parents of students already enrolled at Kellenberg Memorial or returning Latin School Students can access the portal at https://student.kellenberg.org and sign in using their existing credentials. Your email address is your user ID.

Music Ensemble/Study Hall Response Form

DUE April 1

Once you have logged onto the portal, you will be able to access the Music Ensemble/Study Hall Form. Please complete this form in the portal to indicate if your child wishes to participate in our school’s Band, Chorus or Orchestra programs. You will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire regarding your child’s musical background and experience. Students who do not join a music ensemble will have a study hall for one period per day. Please note that students who elect to participate in a music ensemble will not have a study hall during the school day. You must complete this form by Monday, April 1, 2024. More detailed information regarding auditions and the requirements for Band, Chorus and Orchestra will be sent out on April 10.

Complete the Academic Intake form:

DUE April 22

Once you have logged onto the portal, you will be able to access the Academic Intake Form. Please complete this form on the portal with your child’s language course intent for next year as well as your child’s CURRENT math and science courses. This way, we can make sure that your child is enrolled in the correct courses when he or she arrives in September. You must complete this form by Monday, April 22, 2024.

Student and Parent Orientation

All new freshmen and their parents are required to attend this Orientation Program. You should report at 10:00 a.m. to the Auditorium. You and your parents will be given the opportunity to meet with administrators, teachers, and students who will explain to you the various programs and activities of the school. At that time, we can answer any questions you might have about your freshman year and share with you their own experience of Kellenberg Memorial. There will also be an opportunity to explore the fall sports program for September 2024.

Summer Soaring Events!

We have many exciting events planned for the summer of 2024 to help you get acclimated to your new school. A personal invitation to musical and athletic events (including the Blue and Gold Show!), parent Paint Night, New York Mets game, outdoor movie night, and family Mass! These events are organized to help you meet friends, classmates and teachers as you begin your journey as a Firebird! More information including a Save The Date will be available at Freshman Orientation on Saturday, April 20th.

TRIPLE “A” PROGRAM

The school year for freshmen begins on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, with the Triple “A” Program. The Triple “A” Program is a three-day program to help you make the adjustment from grammar school to high school. The program will enable you to know the school’s facilities, to know many of your fellow freshmen, to become acquainted with your teachers, and to develop a sense of confidence in your ability to handle high school level work. The program will run Wednesday, August 28, Thursday, August 29, and Tuesday, September 3 from 8:10 a.m. until 2:50 p.m. each day. More information concerning this program will be available on this portal over the summer.
