After careful consideration, we have decided to postpone the Alumni Christmas Social originally scheduled for next Thursday, December 16th, at Bayview on the Water in Freeport.
With the recent spike in Covid-19 cases and hospitalization rates in our area, as well as the new restrictions placed on indoor gatherings announced today by Governor Hochul, we feel it is in the best interest of the Firebird Family to err on the side of caution at this time. We look forward to rescheduling the event for the spring when weather conditions allow a larger number of alumni to feel comfortable gathering safely in an outdoor setting.
While we are disappointed to miss out on being together with the alumni family this holiday season, we feel this decision will help ensure a happy, healthy Christmas for all!
