Hanifan was named Co-ECC Defensive Player of the Year this season, along with earning IWLCA All-North Region first-team honors. The defender collected 27 ground balls and caused 17 turnovers this season. Meanwhile, Maxwell was a First-Team All-ECC performer and an IWLCA All-North Region second-team honoree, winning 30 draws, causing 19 turnovers and scooping up 30 ground balls. Additionally, both players achieved special milestones by scoring their first career collegiate goal in the team’s 18-1 win against Queens on Apr. 26. Hanifan tacked on two more goals to her resume in an 18-5 ECC semifinal triumph over Molloy on Apr. 30.
