Running in the last “JV” race of her career, junior Anita Mikowski won the 370 girl Manhattan College Invitational JV race. Mikowski shown here early in the race, took the lead on the downhill portion of the race, never relinquishing it. Her time on the legendary 2.5 Van Cortlandt Park course was 16:55. The Varsity team of Nora Bennett, Julia Bryant, Maureen Lewin, Maya Richardson, and Brianna Lausev finished fifth in their 30 team multi-state field. Bennett’s time was 16:20.
