Graduating Kellenberg senior Natalie Jean has been selected as the Catholic High School Athletic Association’s “Sportmanship Winner” for the Spring 2013 season. Jean, Last Sunday’s Winner of the CHSAA Intersectional Championship Shot Put and runnerup in the Discus, Jean has set all Kellenberg school records in the Indoor and Outdoor Weight events. She has been an active member of C.R.O.S.S. during her years at Kellenberg, volunteering important hours to the elderly residents of the A. Holly Patterson Home, among the many other contributions Natalie has given to her community, school, and team. Natalie is pictured here with her arch-rivals from the NSCHSGAA, after winning the indoor shot put competition. As one rival coach put it, “Jean raised the bar of competition in the weight events in this league.” Natalie Jean has also raised the bar in the dignity of sportsmanship!
Natalie will be carrying the Banner at the Opening Ceremonies at the New York State Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Middletown, NY to be held on June 7th & 8th.
