A breakfast to recognize students who have excelled in various activities and clubs was held on the morning of May 7.
The millennium room event, hosted during homeroom, brought together a group of talented and dedicated students whose hard work and commitment stood out this school year. Many students gathered with their peers from various activities, engaging in conversation and great food before the commencement of the school day.
Senior Victoria Confusione noted, “It was touching to be awarded for our hard work. This sense of support really is what makes the Kellenberg a family.”
Many teachers were also in attendance to congratulate and praise students for their outstanding performances this year. Coordinator of the event Mr. Kennedy addressed the group saying, “You have all worked extremely hard and put in an immense amount of time and effort into the activities you’re involved in. Your work in making these clubs so successful is what makes Kellenberg a family, and your efforts do not go unnoticed.”
The event not only recognized achievement, but also inspired others to get involved and strive for excellence. From clubs to academic achievements, students from a wide range of activities enjoyed breakfast, pictures, and meeting with their peers for one last time before the end of this productive school year.
Sophomore Mary O’Brien added, “Kellenberg offers so many clubs and activities, making it easy to participate in extracurriculars. I felt honored to be recognized for my involvement, and I enjoyed connecting with my friends and peers over our achievements.”
Overall, it was a proud moment for the school community and a reminder that here at Kellenberg hard work and passion do not go unnoticed.
