As we get ready for the coming of Jesus, it is important to focus on
our spiritual lives in order to grasp the true meaning of
Christmas. During this time, it is easy to get distracted with
materialistic things, and we often lose sight of what is important. The
Advent season is the time to recognize in what ways we could better
ourselves through following in God’s word, for Jesus came into this
world in order to save us from sin. Focusing on love and sacrifice,
praying for others, and utilizing our gifts d reassures are some
ways to do so. Through this, we can begin to realize that Christmas is
God purring His message into action through us as we prepare for the
birth of His Son Jesus.
