The Lady Firebirds were on fire at their Freshmen/Sophomore Intersectional Championship meet with some incredible performances across the board on Saturday, May 11.
Marley Dyasi led the charge as Kellenberg’s top scorer of the meet, striking gold in both the freshman discus and shot put. Right beside her, Chloe Fourrien doubled up on silver in those same events—talk about a powerhouse duo!
Molly Freeman made waves with a silver in the sophomore discus and a bronze in shot put while Zuri Louis grabbed bronze in sophomore discus and silver in shot put. Kberg’s throwers were truly dominant.
Also in the field events, Abby Woodruff leapt to a silver finish in the sophomore long jump.
In an impressive combo, Charlize Marmol earned bronze in the 800 meters and placed 5th in javelin. Hayden Nolan went the distance in the freshman 3000 meters, snagging a silver medal while Gabby Perrotta placed 6th in the freshman 200 meters and 5th in the freshman 400 meters. Newcomer Brooke Corbett placed 6th in the freshman 1500 meters.
Among our dominant sophomore sprinters, Harper Lollo placed 4th in the sophomore 400 meters, with Mariella Wenerski close behind in 5th.
