Advent Prayer Reflection by Patrick Graham

Dec 04 2015

December 4th
Mt 9:27- 31

If you are blind, you seek out your doctor to receive glasses; if you are confused about an Algebra lesson, you seek out your math teacher. If you are stuck in sin, you seek out Savior. Two blind men, acting because of Faith, sought out Jesus for a cure, and they received their sight because of each man’s Faith. They then went out to spread the word of Jesus’s powers. When your anger, jealousy, lust, or inaction blinds you from your purpose of living, you should seek Jesus to cure you; the word you spread of his power is your new found peace, thanksgiving, love, or commitment to the community around you. And, by your new ways, you praise Jesus as your healer, redeemer, and Savior.
