Paige Salmon ‘14 and Brooke Salmon ‘15 have been named All State Soccer Players by the New York State Sportswriters and Coaches Organization for Girls Sports (NYSSCOGS).
Paige Salmon has been a member of Girls soccer for all four of her years at Kellenberg, and is a lifelong player who has played for a number of prestigious soccer teams including five years on the “Long Island Junior Soccer League Olympic Development Program Select Team”. This year Paige was named the NSCHSGAA Soccer League’s Player of the year before receiving the title of All State.
Brooke Salmon is an accomplished athlete, who has played for the “Long Island Junior Soccer League Olympic Development Program Select Team” in addition to playing Lacrosse and Basketball for Kellenberg. Brooke is on the Honor roll, is a member of the National Honor society and participates in PREP, the SMART program, and a host other organizations outside of Kellenberg.
In order to receive a nomination to become an All State Soccer player the athlete must be nominated by the coaches in their League, before being selected by the NYSSCOGS as an All State player.
