IS 40:25-31
At times we may feel burdened or overwhelmed by what’s going on in our lives, causing our faith in God to weaken. After all, God gives his strongest battles to his strongest soldiers. However, we must realize that He works in mystical ways and that gifts may be presented to us in times of hardship and failure. Whatever the case is, we must revert our efforts towards God and have faith in Him. Those who place their hope in God will ultimately soar with eagles’ wings and be able to trump over stressful, demanding times. And, in doing so, we come to learn that God has a brighter future for us. Following God’s path for us may appear to be knotty, but He is ultimately leading us to an eternal, divine life.
God is perfect, omnipotent, and most importantly, our beacon of light. During this Advent season, we should all take some time out of our busy lives and direct our energy towards preparing for Jesus’ Birth.
