Misericorde Fund at Kellenberg Memorial

The Misericorde Fund at Kellenberg Memorial began in 2001 in response to the tremendous loss some Kellenberg Memorial Families suffered after the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001. The fund was reactivated to assist families who suffered great loss due to the ravaging effects of Superstorm Sandy in 2012.  From time to time we have used this fund to assist other Kellenberg Families who have suffered catastrophic events in their lives that necessitated immediate financial assistance.

The Coronavirus Pandemic presents another occasion for us as a Kellenberg Memorial Family to unite in One Heart and One Mind by assisting KMHS families who are suffering due to this crisis.  If you would like to assist those in need, you can make a donation to the Misericorde Fund either by check made out to Kellenberg Memorial with the notation “Misericorde Fund” or you can donate online by following the instructions below.  These donations are for the sole use of assisting Kellenberg Families who are in need during this pandemic.

Please continue to pray for an end to the Coronavirus.  We especially pray for those who suffer with the virus, those providing care for the sick, and for our Kellenberg Family that we stay strong in One Heart and One Mind.

The word “Misericorde” comes from Middle English meaning and act of clemency, pity, or mercy.
