Boys JV Basketball Continues Their Legendary Run with Their 9th Straight Victory Over St. Dominic’s
The Boys JV Basketball team continued their undefeated season with a win over St. Dominic’s High School on January 19th, bringing their league record to 9 wins and 0 losses.
The boys started right out of the gate, hitting 9 of their first 10 shots. The team did not let up and scored a season high 73 points on a night where the team shot 73% from the field.
Sophomore Matthew Connolly led all scorers with 16 points. Sophomores Joshua Rivera and Stephen Kiernan Jr. each scored 10 points. Other contributors included Sophomores: Brendan Tumulty, Ryan Exarhos and Connor Evert.
Rivera shared, “It was a good team win. This season has been great so far because of how we play as a team. The job isn’t finished yet so we’re still looking towards the postseason.”
The team is now looking to continue their winning streak on Friday, January 27th with a home game against St. Anthony’s.
