The History Club met on January 24 to play a customized “world domination” game that club moderator Mr. Kennedy has designed as a club activity.
The goal of “Conflict” is to build up a player’s military and eventually attack other players in an attempt to conquer as much land as possible. They must accomplish this task strategically while staying under a $2 million budget.
Each area of the world, such as Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, is represented by a team of 3-4 people who work together.
Everyone gets to play while enjoying pizza, candy, and soft drinks.
The club, which meets every Friday, currently consists of about 20 people and is always looking for new members. For those looking for a club that is both enjoyable and educational, History Club just may be the place for you. See Mr. Kennedy for details.
