On Wednesday, April 10, Kellenberg juniors and their parents attended the Junior College Fair in the cafeteria from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M.. Representatives from nearly a hundred different colleges came to give students information on the countless options available to them for life after high school.
Junior Cristina Palmieri shared, “The fair was very informative and really moved my college search along.”
Spokespeople from universities such as Drexel, Rutgers, Villanova, and Penn State were in attendance to talk to the juniors about possibilities for each of their futures.
Miss Ronan, the College Placement Coordinator, said, “Representatives said it was one of the best fairs they have been to. They really enjoyed speaking with Kellenberg students and answering their questions.”
College counselor Mr. Dugal noted, “The fair is such an incredibly valuable opportunity for juniors to introduce themselves to college representatives; inquire about academic programs, majors, and scholarship opportunities; and help begin to discover which colleges would be the best potential fit for the future. It’s always great for me to step back and take in the excitement of the evening!”
The Junior College Fair was undoubtedly a success for these students as they prepare for senior year and the next steps in their lives.
