As we approach the Christmas season, it is crucial to remember that the holidays are not just about receiving gifts and eating delicious meals. It is a time for giving and spreading love.
The success of the Addie’s Army Toy Drive displayed the enormous generosity of Kellenberg students.
From November 14 to November 18, the Latin school students of National Junior Honor Society ran a toy drive with contributions from National Honor Society students. Students were asked to bring in assorted toys to donate to Addie’s Army.
Addie’s Army is a charity organization with the mission to provide support to families with children who are in the hospital or going through difficult times. It was named for the daughter of Kellenberg’s own Mr. White.
The toys were then given to the Ronald McDonald House, another charitable organization with a similar mission. During this season of giving, Kellenberg was proud to support a cause that will make a difference in the lives of families that need it.
