On Thursday, January 26, Kellenberg celebrated its annual Pop Hop dance. This event invited the young ladies of Kellenberg to celebrate an evening of faith, food, and fun with the important men in their lives, such as fathers, grandfathers, and uncles.
The evening began with a beautiful prayer service, including a song performed by Mr. Bursig. Shortly after, food and refreshments were served with the help of members from SALT. Students enjoyed a wonderful dinner with their friends and father figures.
Raffle tickets were also available for the purchasing of a variety of prizes and gift baskets.
Following dinner, excitement and fun took place on the dance floor thanks to music provided by Mr. O’Brien, a.k.a. DJ OB. Favorites included “Piano Man,” “YMCA,” and a father-daughter dance to the classic “Cinderella.”
When asked to describe her experience, attendee junior Gabriella Cruz remarks, “It was so nice to spend time with my Dad and friends in such a fun atmosphere. I loved getting to sit and have dinner with everyone and get to know those around me.”
The Pop Hop was a major success and an extremely meaningful experience to those who
attended. It was a great way for students to spend time with their fellow classmates and father figures.
