On November 14th, 2023, eighteen Kellenberg seniors were honored at the annual fall NCAA Celebration. This event honors the achievements of student athletes who have committed to a college for their respective sports and celebrates their advancement to collegiate athletics.
The coaches and parents of these athletes joined in the Millennium Room for this celebration.
Ariana Corrente, one of the student athletes recognized at the event, shared, “It was a beautiful ceremony to celebrate the eighteen of us for our athletic and academic achievements. To be able to have parents and friends during this made it truly memorable.”
Mr. Fechtmann, the athletic director at Kellenberg Memorial, has been part of this celebration since its beginnings thirteen years ago. He said, “It’s a great ceremony to recognize our student athletes.”
The athletic program has been a longtime focal point at Kellenberg, and days like these are able to draw attention to that fact.
In all, the NCAA Celebration was a day of great recognition for Kellenberg’s student athletes.
