On Friday, March 25th, the young men of Kellenberg and their mothers took a step back from their busy schedules and celebrated a night filled with love and joy. March 25th is also the day of the Annunciation of the Lord, which is when the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and announced that she would be giving birth to the Son of God, Jesus Christ, making it a perfect day to hold Kellenberg’s first-ever Mother-Son Night. What better way to celebrate Mary and her fiat than to spend time with your own mother!
The evening started with honoring Mary and Jesus through prayer and a spiritual faith talk in the Auditorium. As the night continued, the boys and their mothers were able to play games and make lasting memories full of laughter with each other. Some of the games played between the pairs on stage were “Newlyweds: Mother-Son Edition”, “Can you hear me?”, and “Finish the lyrics!”. With smiles across their faces, the pairs enjoyed a delicious dinner in the beautifully decorated atmosphere in the cafeteria. The mothers and sons had an amazing night at Kellenberg’s first Mother-Son Night and left the dinner with memories that’ll last a lifetime!
