On January 20, the Latin School students enjoyed their night in a winter wonderland at the Latin School Winter Dance.
The dance took place in the cafeteria, which was transformed into a dance floor for the night. Fun festivities included snacks, drinks, and a photo station with props such as Kellenberg jerseys and signs. Mr. O’Brien helped make the dance a success as the DJ. He kept the students engaged and allowed them to bring forward their best dance moves on the dance floor.
In addition, students were asked to bring soup donations to give back to the less fortunate. Their contributions demonstrated the humble, generous hearts that the students at Kellenberg have. Senior Marianist Mentors shared in the kindness and fellowship through their presence at the dance, leading the younger students and enjoying the night themselves.
The night wrapped up when the Latin School attendees formed a circle with Mr. O’Brien in the middle. They sang “Piano Man” by Billy Joel, appreciating the beautiful night they just spent together as a class. The Latin School Winter Dance helped students grow closer to one another while enjoying a fun night with food and dancing.
