The last XLT of the school year was held on Wednesday, May 22. Each XLT welcomes students to come together, have fun, and celebrate in the Adoration of Christ.
After a dinner in the school cafeteria, students and faculty moved into the auditorium where the adoration service began, with the XLT band performing.
Celebrant Fr. Dan introduced speaker Bro. Kenneth Hoagland, S.M., who emphasized the importance of long weekends, snow days, summer vacation, and other breaks as a way to make time for God.
XLT provides a calming and peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to detach from the hectic bustle and stress of everyday life and focus solely on God’s presence.
Junior Ciara Bice commented, “I enjoy XLT because it is a good way to reconnect with the Blessed Sacrament while being with classmates.”
This May XLT was the perfect way to bring a close to the school year in a social and spiritual manner.
