The Kellenberg Chess Club meets after school on Wednesdays from 3-4PM in room 131. Regardless of skill level, the club welcomes all students.
Damien Sileo ‘24 reflects on his experience saying, “At first, I just joined to make friends. Now, the club has given me the opportunity to expand my knowledge and skill by playing against people with the same love for chess as me.”
Mr. Barbier, the club moderator, says, “Chess club is a wonderful place to share a friendly spirit of camaraderie and channel our competitive nature through a classic game. We have experienced players capable of entering competitions and players who walk in the door who are just learning the game for the first time.”
Come and join a meeting to strengthen your skills and challenge your mind in a classic game of chess.
