Kellenberg is very happy to announce that Flight of the Firebirds, the official Kellenberg Podcast, has returned.
After some time and much planning, the podcast was brought back to life by Mr. Beyrouty and senior Amelia Caban. Flight of the Firebirds explores all of the exciting news at Kellenberg. From sports to teacher interviews, this podcast covers many interesting topics. Flight of the Firebirds is a great way to sit back, relax, and listen to what goes on at Kellenberg.
“I am honored to lend any communication experience I have to the students to make this podcast grow. I hope for the podcast to have a legacy,” stated Mr. Beyrouty, moderator of the podcast. Thanks to the myriad of events at the “school that never sleeps,” Flight of the Firebirds gives an opportunity to learn all about what Kellenberg has to offer. The hope for the podcast is to give the readers an inside scoop of Kellenberg’s sports programs, student life, and the many activities and events.
The latest podcast featured the Kellenberg Football Program in preparation for the senior game held at Hofstra University. Interviews from Coach Meisse along with seniors Jack Durso and Kareem Holland were conducted by Amelia Caban. When asked about her involvement in the podcast, Amelia responded, “Being a part of Flight of the Firebirds has been such an exciting journey. It was really wonderful to see all of our ideas for the podcast come true. I am super thrilled to see how it goes.”
