On Tuesday, October 25, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors attended the High School Academic Awards Assembly. Students that met the requirements of an 84.5 average or above received a pin for the honor roll. Students received a bronze pin for one year on the honor roll, a silver pin for two years, and a gold pin for three years. Also, members of the Junior class were inducted into the National Honor Society.
“This year in my speech I read a quote from my 5th grade teacher about love, service, and kindness,” Mr. Kennedy stated. “I thought the assembly was an excellent display of the academic achievement of our upper class Kellenberg students.” Mr. Kennedy also recognized the new officers of the National Honor Society, which are Jake Truncale, Olivia Carmody, Matthew Meaney, and Jamie Judge. The Academic Awards Ceremony was a great way to celebrate the achievements of the students and the accomplishments they made.
