The Phoenix Earns First Place by American Scholastic Press Association

Kellenberg’s student newspaper The Phoenix was honored with the 2018 American Scholastic Press Association First Place Award for excellence in high school journalism.  The award recognizes excellence in content coverage, design, graphics, editing, and creativity.  Of a total 1000 points in the ASPA assessment, The Phoenix earned 910 points, indicating excellence in all of the categories.  This is the second time in three years The Phoenix has received this award.
