As the year comes to a quick end, students throughout every grade are excited to see what the next school year has to offer. Specifically, many juniors are preparing for their leadership roles, senior opportunities, and college applications, roles that many of them will occupy next school year.
Before the chaos of senior year settled in, juniors and faculty members traveled to Six Flags Great Adventure on Wednesday, May 29 for a day of rides, friendship, and fun.
Over 400 juniors anxiously boarded their buses Wednesday morning, thrilled to see what their exciting day had in store. Upon arriving at Six Flags, students had free roam of the 510 acre park containing 66 rides to choose from. Many participants spent the day riding roller coasters, playing carnival games, and enjoying delicious food. Although some of the iconic coasters had temporary shutdowns, the Juniors were not discouraged and conquered exhilarating rides like “Kingda Ka”, “El Toro”, and “Nitro”.
Annalise Alvarez shares, “My favorite part of the trip was the rides, I got to go on Green Lantern twice! I loved spending time in the parks with my friends.”
Overall, this was a memorable and exciting trip for the Junior class
