The second XLT of the new year was held on January 24.
Mr. Beyrouty was the speaker for this month’s XLT. He spoke about his journey to where he is now, and how his faith has helped him get through some of the toughest points of his life. Mr. Beyrouty also shared some of his favorite quotes about life, and talked about how these quotes can positively impact a person’s daily life.
After, the students took part in Eucharistic Adoration while the XLT band played a series of songs that set the peaceful and reverent tone for the evening.
“XLT is a great way for anyone to grow closer with God and gain more insight into the ways that faith has impacted our teachers,” said senior Felipe Montes.
XLT, which is short for Exalt, is a monthly religious service where students from all grades can gather for dinner, a witness talk from a Kellenberg teacher, and Eucharistic Adoration.
The next XLT service will be on March 6. Students can register in the monthly XLT notification email or contact Mr. Bursig with any questions.
