The newest edition to Kellenberg’s array of clubs has arrived. After over a year of Kellenberg students approaching Mrs. Harnisch and requesting this clique, a Bible study group has been formed. Its current plan is to alternate between in person and virtual meetings on Thursdays. Their members discuss ways they use and apply the Bible in their everyday lives.
The group will typically take three meetings to discuss a major biblical event. The first week they each explain how they view the Bible story, then the next week they talk about the literal text from the Bible, and the final week is spent on applying the meaning of the story to their lives.
Their first ever in-person meeting took place this past Thursday and they discussed fellowships and icebreakers, such as whether you prefer sauce or no sauce on your fries. Senior Amanda Pillig says, “I liked getting to know the new kids in Bible study and their interests.” The inaugural meeting was a massive success and the group looks to expand to even more members.
