The Class of 2023 kicked off their last ride with a Welcome Back Breakfast on Friday, September 16. Hundreds of excited seniors gathered in the St. Marks parking lot. Students enjoyed bagels with butter and Capri-Suns, and enjoyed each other’s company. Freshman scripture teacher Mr. O’Brien took pictures and videos of the festivities to capture these memorable moments. As music sounded throughout the parking lot, students loved to socialize amongst each other and enjoy one of their many senior events of the year. The seniors then walked to school together for the start of the school day.
Senior Riley Schroeder talks about her experience: “What I loved about the Senior Sunrise breakfast was how everyone was talking to each other, friends or not. Everyone was inclusive, and that was the highlight of the experience.”
