Article by Phoenix writer Elizabeth O’Hara ’25:
This past weekend was the Freshman Communion Breakfast. I think this was a great opportunity for me and other freshmen to experience so many important faith aspects of Kellenberg. The event began with a Mass, followed by an accompanying breakfast. We were able to show our parents around the school, and showcase our freshman scripture projects. As someone who went to the Latin school, I never had been to something like this at Kellenberg, and I was very grateful to be able to go and help out during the event. My favorite part was being able to show my dad our new science labs and being able to come together as a class to have Mass. This event also showed me how far I’ve come since being a sixth-grader at Kellenberg by seeing what me and my class created for the inspiring Scripture projects. Overall this has been one of my favorite events at Kellenberg and I look forward to more opportunities of faith!
