Numerous upperclassmen gathered together in faith for the Junior/Senior Evening of Recollection on Friday, November 15.
Kicking off the night, the students in attendance were served dinner, after saying grace. “I chose to come to this event to spend time with my Kellenberg friends who are my family,” Amy Trani ‘26 revealed.
Following dinner, attendees made their way over to the gym, where the next part of the evening was spent playing games such as Ships and Sailors, balloon relay races, and more. Most notably was a game of blindfolded musical chairs, where the chairs were moved around by the LIFErs and players could only rely on sound and touch.
The final portion of the evening was spent in prayer, starting with a candlelit procession from the cafeteria to the new Maria Regina Chapel in the FCAA. The night was extra special because of the advice given to current students by alum Matt Meaney ‘23. He detailed his experience in college so far and how he has managed to stay faithful once out in the world on his own. When asked why he came back to speak at Kellenberg, he said “I love what Kellenberg has done for me. They have prepared me so well for college, in my faith life and my academic life.”
Overall, the night was a success and special thanks are due to the Marianist LIFE team for all of the hard work they put into organizing the event.
